PawSquad approached us to help generate media coverage for their revolutionary service – the UK’s first ‘vet Skype’ service. It’s a great story – one that we were confident we could do justice to.
In common with all start-ups, PawSquad were keen on getting value for money. The campaign began with a focus on coverage in national and tech titles – vertical media outlets dealing with the veterinary services and pet sectors – and most challenging of all, finance and business titles that could attract the eye of potential investors.
In response we developed three bespoke pitches – and began the sell in.
One of the first – and most influential – tech outlets to pick up the story was The Next Web, followed by Pocket-lint, IT Pro, Tech City News, Engadget, Life Hacker, Tech London News and Mobile News.
A number of mainstream media outlets were also attracted to the story – including an extensive feature in the UK’s top selling newspaper, the Daily Mail – and Sky News.
Not forgetting the request for coverage to help attract new investment, we generated two expansive stories – one in Bloomberg News, the world’s biggest financial news agency and the other in Forbes, the highly respected and influential business magazine.
And the coverage continued to flow in from other sectors.
Needing to recruit veterinary professionals to their new service, we placed stories in the trade’s most influential digital outlet Vets Online – as well as pieces in Vetsurgeon and Vetnurse
Completing the circle, we also achieved coverage in leading pet magazines including The Pet Gazette, Your Cat and Modern Dog Magazine.
The end result – a successful launch for PawSquad’s innovative and clever business!
