Over the last few months we’ve been been working quietly in the background with a truly innovative client – Ava, makers of the world’s first fertility monitoring bracelet.
Unlike its rivals, Ava has successfully completed a year-long clinical trial – with a second one already underway.
The science and technology behind Ava is the most advanced of its kind in the world. Most fertility apps simply track two signs of fertility – by contrast Ava monitors nine key physiological areas.
Ava has already proven a great success in the US – and they brought us onboard to help with the UK launch on January 24th 2017.
The first pieces of national coverage began to emerge very quickly prior to the launch – this positive review in The Metro was speedily followed by a Huffington Post blog, an interview in Business Insider, stories in the Daily Express and The Sun, a feature about wearables and the future of healthcare in Tech City News (found on page 41) and a mention in the BBC’s Click coverage of the CES in Las vegas earlier in January.
After talking to journalists in the run up to the UK launch, distributing sample bracelets to carefully selected, national journalists / broadcasters and then pounding the streets of London last week between interviews – we’ve had some additional great results.
These include features in The Times, the Mail On Sunday, The Mirror, The Daily Telegraph, The Memo and Disrupts to mention just a small sample.
In fact, we have had 22 pieces of coverage in key titles so far – with more due to arrive soon.
But perhaps our biggest scoop to date was an interview on the BBC’s Business Live program – which can be found at 19.17 minutes into the broadcast.
