Flic is one of the coolest pieces of technology to come out of Sweden for a long time.
Its portable, wireless ‘Internet Of Things’ button brings the connected world into your home and offers users a simpler way to interact with all their smart devices. For example, you can use a Flic button to control your lights, music system, speakers or to send messages to friends.
Despite boasting Sweden’s best ever crowd-funding programme – and selling 50,000 pre-ordered units – no one really knew about their innovative product.
That’s where we stepped in.
Working to a very limited budget – and a tight timeline – we placed a number of stories in leading publications, starting off with the world’s most popular news website – the Daily Mail.
This was quickly followed by additional coverage in ZDNet, the Evening Standard and The Guardian. We also spoke to the key ‘connected home’ trade publications, leading to pieces in the Smart Home Digest and Perfect Home Automation.
And it’s not over yet as several other leading tech publications are also due to publish their review of Flic soon.
