Along with most of the population, you’ve probably never heard of IDeaS – but they’re a significant player in the hospitality industry, with their forecasting software used to set the price of more than a million hotel rooms everyday.
But faced with increasing competition, we’ve been working with them to raise their profile within the sector.
Proving our versatility, we began the campaign in 2017 by securing coverage about a new contract in two trade titles – TTG Nordic and tnooz – along with a blog in another key publication, Serviced Apartment News.
We then secured dozens of pieces of coverage for IDeaS in a wide range of hotel and hospitality media outlets including Hospitality Net, Travel Industry News, The Caterer, ehotelier and Hotel Marketing.
But the best was yet to come later in the year, with the next stage of the campaign featuring news that IDeaS had bought Smart Space Strategy, a UK meetings, functions and events tech company. Hitting the phones we generated coverage in regional titles including Hotel Magazine, Boutique Hotel News, 4 Hoteliers, Hospitality Net, Hotel Marketing Support, Serviced Apartment News, Hotel Business, Smart Travel, Hotel Analyst, Skift and tnooz.
In fact, 2017 proved to be an incredibly busy year – we generated a whopping amount of coverage – with just under 200 pieces across the EMEA region.
In the first three months of 2018 alone – we helped to co-ordinate nearly 140 pieces of coverage. Watch out for an update soon with the current figures for this year.
In the meantime, our most recent campaign which focussed on generating coverage around the signing of a new hotel in Portugal, means we have yet more coverage to report.
And, as proof that PR can help drive business growth, IDeaS has already been approached by a number of new clients in the region wanting to know more about their industry-leading technology.
