We have continued to work with Ground Control, the country’s largest supplier of maintenance services, throughout lockdown.
And with several news stories requiring media attention we have been kept busy and focused during the pandemic.
The most prestigious coverage came in a profile piece about Ground Control’s directors in Forbes. This was a great result as the company’s co-founders have prioritised thought leadership articles like this. This success followed an earlier interview in a Times feature (published on May 22nd) on furloughing staff.
At the same time, we’ve been working on a number of stories aimed at trade titles.
First off the block was the company’s purchase of new, high tech safety helmets for workers doing essential but potentially dangerous maintenance work near rail lines. We saw the news being picked up by Rail Staff, Rail Engineer, Hort Week and Pro Landscaper.
Then came Ground Control’s announcement of a £5 million sustainability fund – the Evergreen Fund – to invest in early stage companies and social enterprises that are helping the environment. This time we achieved coverage in Hort Week, Tech Eu, Pro Landscaper, Environment Journal, BALI, Tech Startups, and Facilities Management Magazine.
And finally, we have been busy in the last few weeks with a very topical story – one about saying thank you to the NHS.
Ground Control took just one week to transform several outside spaces at Newham Hospital to provide staff, patients and visitors with special places to sit, relax, reflect and remember those who have lost their lives to Covid-19. Up-to-date we have seen coverage in FMJ, Hort Week, Turf Pro, Landscaper Magazine and BALI.
More titles are in the process of publishing and we’ll update as they arrive.
