Good news for those of us who have ever had to pay lawyer’s sky-high bills, tech startup Lexoo has its eyes set on disrupting the legal sector.
To date, the UK’s £29bn legal sector has avoided the disruptive impact of the digital revolution. It remains largely analogue, completely dominated by expensive bricks and mortar businesses.
By contrast, entrepreneurs and SMEs get to use Lexoo for free. The site automatically curates a list of experienced and affordable legal experts who provide a digital service. The end result being their fees are on average half of those generated by bricks and mortar law firms.
With news of a $1.3m fund raising to publicise, our key goal was coverage in relevant SME and entrepreneurial media outlets.
