Ooh la la – we recently began working with a very exciting French fintech client, Le Swave.
As part of Paris & Co – the French capital’s economic development and innovation agency – they were keen to get British media covering the city’s plan to become a new hub for financial innovation in Europe.
Knowing that the Brexit clock was ticking, we leveraged the fact that the country’s finance minister was attending a key fintech conference and immediately got to work contacting financial journalists.
To generate as much coverage as we could in a short amount of time, we concentrated our efforts on approaching international news agencies and top tier media titles that had Paris-based staff.
Following a quick trip on the Eurostar and a breakfast of croissants with hot chocolate, we took to the conference floor, liaising with journalists in London, the media representative for the French minister and our client Le Swave.
