We first began working with the Swedish start-up Flic nearly two years ago when they launched the world’s first portable smart button, technology that allows users to program three functions (from a choice of 60) into each button.
By simply clicking, double clicking or holding the Flic button a chosen function on your smart-phone is activated – for example calling a cab, ordering a pizza, unlocking doors, taking pictures, playing music, sending your GPS location to friends or turning on the lights / heating in your smart home.
As always, we delivered coverage in top tier media titles.
Now we’re back working with Flic again in the all-important run up to Christmas.
To kick things off we secured coverage in the BBC’s highly popular consumer tech show ‘Click’. You’ll find a great review 19:30 into the program as part of a feature on portable buttons.
With Flic now launching a new range of single purpose buttons we have been approaching journalists writing Christmas tech gift guides with an exclusive story initially going to CNET and followed by a review from Twice.
Other titles to have reviewed Flic include ZDNet, FHM, Expert Reviews, T3 and Gadget Daily, .
